Danilo, a Brazilian student studying in Guangdong, was pleasantly surprised to find a familiar appliance he brought from Brazil at the Canton Fair. He exclaimed, "This small appliance is so useful! I brought it all the way from Brazil to China, and I never expected to see the manufacturer at the Canton Fair. It feels like home!" On the opening day of the 135th Canton Fair, Danilo, serving as an "explorer of China," explored the fairgrounds with reporters, marveling at the new products on display. After three hours of exploration, Danilo shared his experience with the media.
Reporter: Before coming to China, had you heard about the Canton Fair? And how many times have you attended it?
Danilo: Yes, I had heard about the Canton Fair. I knew it's a very important trade fair not only in China but also globally. For Brazilian buyers, the Canton Fair is a crucial opportunity to explore Chinese products. This is actually my second time attending the fair. I came last year shortly after arriving in Guangzhou to study.
Reporter: How was your previous visit to the Canton Fair?
Danilo: I have some foreign friends who are involved in import and export trade, and they often come to China, and have attended the Canton Fair for several times. Last year, they told me that I must visit the Canton Fair during my stay in Guangzhou, so I joined them.
Reporter: How did they describe the Canton Fair to you?
Danilo: They always told me how amazing and interesting it is. Even though my foreign friends have established cooperative relationships with Chinese manufacturers, they still look forward to attending the Canton Fair. Because the fair covers everything, showcasing the latest products and technologies, it’s always possible to find new business opportunities here.
Reporter: What products impressed you the most today?
Danilo: There were many products that left a deep impression on me. At the booth of iFLYTEK, I saw an AI translation device. I tested it with English and Portuguese, and it quickly translated my speech into Chinese with very high accuracy. It even offers an option for Brazilian Portuguese, which is very intelligent. This translation device not only supports voice input but can also translate text in images. Additionally, in the small home appliances section, I saw a smart cat litter box that can automatically handle a pet cat's waste and clean itself, which is incredibly convenient.
Reporter: What were your impressions of Chinese manufacturing before attending the Canton Fair? And after attending, do you have any new insights into Chinese manufacturing?
Danilo: Chinese manufacturing is definitely very well-known. But I also know that some people have biases against Chinese manufacturing, saying that Chinese products are of poor quality, but that's clearly not true. Nowadays, Chinese products are made with excellent design and quality. The headphones, electric shavers, and other products I use daily are not only made in China but are also Chinese brands. I really like these products, which I purchased in Brazil and brought to China. Today at the Canton Fair, I also saw products from Chinese brands that I usually use.

【視訊】巴西留學生達尼洛： 從巴西帶到廣東的這個電器，廣交會上找到“娘家”
“這個小電器太好用了，我從巴西一直帶到中國，沒想到在廣交會上看到了生産商，太親切了！”4月15日，第135屆廣交會開幕。當天上午，就讀于廣東外語外貿大學的巴西籍留學生達尼洛擔任“中國探秘官”，與記者一起逛廣交會、看新展品。三小時的參觀結束後，達尼洛跟記者分享了他的感受。
羊城晚報：來中國之前，你聽說過廣交會嗎？這是你第幾次來逛廣交會？
達尼洛：我聽說過廣交會，我知道這是中國甚至全世界非常重要的展會。對于巴西的采購商來說，廣交會是非常重要的尋找中國産品的機會。這已經是我第二次來廣交會了，去年我剛到廣州讀書不久就來過一次。
羊城晚報：你上一次來廣交會是什麼情形？
達尼洛：我認識一些從事進出口貿易的外國朋友，他們經常來中國，也經常來廣交會。去年他們告訴我在廣州一定要來廣交會看看，我就和他們一起來了。
羊城晚報：他們對廣交會評價如何？
達尼洛：他們一直告訴我說廣交會有多麼棒、多麼有趣。我的外國朋友平常已經和中國制造商建立了穩定的關系，但是他們還是特别期待來廣交會。因為廣交會包羅萬象，最新的産品和技術都在這裡展示，來廣交會總是可以找到新的商機。
羊城晚報：今天什麼産品給你留下了深刻的印象？
達尼洛：給我留下深刻印象的産品有很多。在科大訊飛的展位，我看到了一個AI翻譯機，我用英語和葡萄牙語現場測試了這台翻譯機，它可以把我說的内容快速翻譯成中文，準确率非常高，還有巴西葡語這個選項，非常智能。這款翻譯機不僅支援語音輸入，甚至還可以拍照并且翻譯圖檔中的文字。此外，在小家電展區，我還看到了一台智能貓砂盆，能夠自動處理寵物貓的排洩物，并且自動清理機器，這實在是太友善了。
羊城晚報：以前你對中國制造有什麼印象？來廣交會以後，你又對中國制造有什麼新的認識？
達尼洛：中國制造當然是非常出名。但我也知道有人對中國制造有偏見，說中國的産品品質不好，不過這顯然不是真的。現在中國的産品無論是設計還是品質都做得非常好，我平常使用的耳機、刮胡刀等，不僅是中國制造，還是中國的品牌，我非常喜歡這些産品，這些産品都是我在巴西購買的，又帶到中國繼續使用。今天在廣交會我也看到了我平常在用的中國品牌的産品。
