Yin Yongjie is a well-known expert in critical care medicine, who has saved many lives with his superb medical skills and noble medical ethics, and has made significant contributions to his ordinary post and the emergency response work of all public health incidents.
Professor Yin Yongjie has been engaged in medicine, teaching and research for 38 years, and he is currently a member of the Critical Care Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and the Intensive Care Physician Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association. He asked himself and his students to be "strict", "cautious", "meticulous" and "practical" in their work, and sometimes even reached the level of "demanding". In his clinical work, he has always emphasized: "We should be people-oriented, we treat people who are seriously ill, and while paying attention to the disease, we should give more humanistic care to patients." He cares for his patients sincerely, often sitting at the patient's bedside and observing the patient until the patient's condition is stable, and in many cases he looks more carefully and seriously than the treating doctor.
He often admonished young doctors that clinical experience was gained from the patient's bedside. With his superb medical skills and lofty medical ethics, he saved critically ill patients between life and death, creating one miracle of life after another. His exploration of critical care medicine is deep and broad, covering many core areas of critical care medicine. He led his colleagues to continuously summarize lessons and lessons through clinical practice, enriching everyone's understanding of severe infection, multi-organ failure, Through the collision of ideas, some subversive concepts have been produced, and patients who were once thought to be impossible to cure have been brought back from the line of death to give them a new life, and in practice, they have provided clinicians with practical solutions, and formulated a series of internal norms and processes within the department.
He led the team to take the lead in the development of life support and alternative technologies such as dual plasmapheresis, molecular adsorption recirculation (MARS), transpulmonary pressure monitoring technology, NAVA and ECMO in the province. Among them, the project of "ECMO Transport Standardization and Innovation: Establishing a Regional One-stop Diagnosis and Treatment System for Difficult and Critical Cases" was rated as a national model for improving medical services. Since 2017, more than 300 cases of ECMO patients have been treated, with a success rate of more than 50%, making it the ECMO treatment center with the largest number of ECMO cases and the highest success rate in Northeast China.
In 2019, the total number of ECMO cases ranked 4th in the country, and it won the "Annual Leap Award" of the Extracorporeal Life Support Professional Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, and was known as the ECMO center with excellent results in the field of extracorporeal life support in mainland China. So far, more than 80 qualified ECMO technicians have been trained in the ECMO special training course, which has made outstanding contributions to the development of ECMO in this province and other provinces (Heilongjiang Province, Liaoning Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region). During the anti-epidemic period in Hubei, Professor Yin Yongjie led the team to successfully treat a 72-year-old man using ECMO technology, creating a national record for the oldest patient successfully treated with ECMO at that time, which was also written into the white paper "China's Action to Fight the New Coronary Pneumonia Epidemic".
There is a paragraph in the award speech of the "Physician Daily" at the annual meeting of medical scientists that describes Professor Yin Yongjie as follows: "I am obsessed with architecture, but I have accidentally embarked on the road of practicing medicine." He personally presided over the design of the intensive care medicine department of the new campus of the Second Bethune Hospital of Jilin University (Yatai Campus), which should meet the functional needs and the requirements of the hospital, and the layout should be complex and the partition should be reasonable. He is able to meet the needs of the "patient-centric" design concept from the perspective of architectural aesthetics, as well as the needs of the workflow.
