In October 1950, Ding Gongliang went to North Korea to participate in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea. When Ding Gongliang arrived in Korea, he was faced with a change in the situation of the war, and later played a great role in the subsequent operations.

September 1950 was the first turning point of the Korean War, when the North Korean army captured Seoul, South Korea, in today's Seoul, in just three days, and then took 90% of the Korean Peninsula in one fell swoop.

But with the landing of the US-led coalition army, the famous Inchon landing, the situation of the war immediately changed. Due to the siege of the North Korean army formed by the American army from the rear, the North Korean army was in a difficult situation for a while, and soon the North Korean army was defeated one by one by the American army, and the American army took only 13 days.

The U.S. military also made full preparations for this plan, but at the critical juncture of the implementation of the landing plan, an incident occurred that directly led to the U.S. military's decision to sign an armistice agreement.

This incident was that Dulles, the director of the CIA, suddenly received such a piece of information, and the level of the intelligence was still top secret. "The Korean People's Army has 294,000 people still fighting, in addition to 836,000 Chinese People's Volunteers, and more than 300,000 Chinese troops are stationed on the east and west coasts of the Korean Peninsula," the intelligence said. ”

In addition, the intelligence also mentions that food and other supplies from China and North Korea have been prepared in advance and can last for at least half a year.

Dulles was shocked when he saw this false information fabricated by our army, and then panicked. He then immediately reported the information he had obtained to Dwight D. Eisenhower, then President of the United States, and suggested that the landing plan be halted, and it was clear that the current situation of the enemy's troops was far beyond estimates.

According to the information obtained, it is obvious that the situation of the Chinese and DPRK forces in all aspects is far higher than that planned by the US military, and if the US military insists on carrying out the attack, both sides will suffer huge losses at the least, and at worst the plan will fail and lose face.

In the face of such a situation, the US military obviously hesitated, because no matter how arrogant they were, it would be difficult for them not to consider the consequences of defeat, and finally chose a more secure armistice plan under the consideration of comprehensive interests.

In this way, under the influence of a letter of intelligence, the United States abandoned its original plan and decided to cease the war. This piece of information naturally came from Ding Gongliang, so how did Ding Gongliang come up with this method?

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he fled to North Korea because the state dealt a severe blow to this aspect and the people's feudal dregs were improved.

In North Korea, Zhang Maniac continued to do his own work to make a living. However, at the time of the outbreak of the Korean War, the Kuomintang in Taiwan, which was far away in Taiwan, contacted Maniac Chang and wanted to find out the intelligence of our army through the path of Maniac Chang and then pass it on to the United States.
