CD Projekt is exploring the possibility of licensing its Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher series to mobile game developers. During the recent earnings call, co-CEO Michał Nowakowski said the company is in dialogue with potential partners to pursue opportunities to turn these well-known IPs into mobile games. Cyberpunk 2077 has yet to launch a mobile game version, while The Witcher: Monster Slayer, a mobile AR game based on The Witcher IP, was launched in 2021 but was discontinued two years later. GWENT, another card game based on The Witcher, and its single-player expansion, Fall of Thrones, received a positive response on mobile platforms, but in October 2023, it was officially announced that support for it would be discontinued.
