Preparations for the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) are progressing smoothly. Since it was inaugurated in 2018, the CIIE has become the premier platform for launching new products, promoting innovative services and consumption, and showcasing high-standard opening-up. During recent promotion events, positive feedback pouring in from all attendees regarding the benefits it brings.
American brand TEMPUR, one of the world's largest mattress suppliers, entered the Chinese market in 2009 and participated in the CIIE for the first time in 2023. Mr. David Yuen, Managing Director of TEMPUR China, stated, "The CIIE provides an excellent platform for brands. Following our successful debut, we have not only continued our participation but also expanded our exhibition area to 300 square meters this year." Yuen expressed confidence in the Chinese market and looked forward to providing higher-quality lifestyle options for Chinese consumers.
IQAir, a Swiss-based air purification information technology company founded in 1963, is participating in the CIIE for the fifth time this year. Ms. Han Jingjing, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at IQAir China told SFC reporter that they decided to continue signing the 7th CIIE, right at the site of the sixth CIIE last year. She remarked, "The onsite sales conversions last year saw exponential growth, and the organizers provided very professional support, offering us a platform for in-depth exchanges with industry insiders and outsiders, things like that all instilling us with great confidence."
Xu Ruosong, VP, Chairman & President of the China Region at Kokusai-Electric Corp, expressed, "We have great confidence in the Chinese market, and the CIIE serves as an excellent showcase platform." He highlighted the company's extensive presence in the Chinese market and added that various policies enacted by the government provide strong confidence to foreign enterprises. He emphasized that these policies send a strong signal that China will continue to open, which is encouraging for potential global businesses and investors.
The 7th CIIE will be held in Shanghai in November 2024.
