In the face of everyone's urgency, in order to ensure that tourists can go smoothly, have fun and swim comfortably, according to the management and operation needs of the peak season of the scenic spot, combined with the preliminary research and actual traffic of the scenic spot, the auxiliary line of Weihai Huanhai Road will be closed for operation and management from 0:00 on April 15, 2024 to 24:00 on October 15, 2024.
Zhang Yapei, deputy general manager of Weihai Huansheng Cultural Tourism Development Co., Ltd., introduced that during the closed operation and management of the auxiliary line of Huanhai Road, private cars can be parked in 14 parking areas such as Haiyuan Park, the north shore of Half Moon Bay, Beishanzui on the south bank, the parking lot in front of the merchants on Banyue Road, the parking lot of Shuangdingshan Parking Lot, the parking lot of Shandong Bay Wharf, and "Hey, Hai Park", and non-motor vehicles can be parked in the nearest parking area. The scenic spot adopts a combination of sightseeing buses and auxiliary lines sightseeing tour buses, and when you buy tickets on the same day, you can take two types of vehicles, and there is no limit to the number of hop-on hop-offs. Through the one-ticket mode, tourists can visit and sightsee in one stop. If you arrive at the scenic spot by cycling or walking, you can park the vehicle in the nearest non-motorized vehicle parking lot, and at the same time follow the publicity signs on both sides of the road to various scenic spots, online car-hailing connection points and sightseeing bus stations and other locations.
"In addition, we are stepping up construction of public restrooms and parking lots, and strive to create a more comfortable, convenient and safe environment for citizens and tourists. Zhang Abbott introduced that the construction of public service facilities in the scenic spot - public toilets and parking lots is also an important part of the overall upgrading and transformation of the Half Moon Bay Scenic Area. At present, a total of 7 public toilets are planned in the Half Moon Bay Scenic Area, including 2 public toilets on Half Moon Bay Beach and 5 public toilets on the auxiliary line of Huanhai Road, 2 reconstructed and 3 newly added, which are located near the entrance of the No. 1 auxiliary line of Huanhai Road and the No. 6 and No. 11 viewing platforms. During the construction period, temporary public restrooms will be provided next to the existing toilets for visitors. "The expansion of parking spaces will be along the southern section of Banyue Road (south of Heqing East Ziyuan to Beibang Fort) and the east and west sides of the Linbanyuewan section of Huanhai Road, with a total of about 400 above-ground parking spaces.
